Welcome to the Loisirs Laurendeau-Dunton Dojo web site!

Loisirs Laurendeau-Dunton Dojo’s goal is to promote the practice of karate in the LaSalle borough of the City of Montréal. Although our main target is the local population, our Dojo is open to all!

Under the management of Sensei Michael Wai-Song (Black Belt, 3rd dan), and his assistants Franz Edelmann and Hans Wai-Song, the Dojo is made up of 2 groups: Sportsmanship-level and competitive-level members.

Sportsmanship-level participants are mostly ordinary citizens, from all age groups, who wish to learn the ancient art of Karate and practice the sport in a non-competitive environment, for fun or fitness.

Competitive-level members have made the decision to push the art to another level and practice Karate in a more stringent fashion with the purpose of participating in regional, national and even international events and championships.
